A vintage silver-tone round pendant centres a warm reddish-brown cabochon—likely carnelian or garnet, —with a soft translucent glow against deep black velvet. A dense marcasite sunburst frame, scalloped at the rim and dotted with fine silver granulation, rings the stone in quiet antique sparkle. A triangular marcasite bail joins a fixed loop at the crown, keeping the silhouette crisp and balanced when worn. Cool silver and marcasite light set off the stone’s warmth; worn alone it holds the neckline, or layers gently with fine chains. For those drawn to sunburst settings, warm cabochons, and pendants with heirloom character.
