A tall, slender vase with a gently flared dish mouth and a pair of small lug handles at the shoulder — long in line, steady in stance. The surface runs from milky white to pale ivory, netted with fine crackle like a spiderweb across the glaze. Amber, burnt umber and deep brown flow from shoulder to belly, layered light and dark — now honey, now scorched wood — writing a natural kiln change upon the crackled ground. Sheen shifts across the skin: matte where the glaze is pale, softly bright where the colour pools. Up close, time and fire leave their texture readable. A faint chip marks the rim — the vessel's true history, never diminishing its presence. Suited to a single stem or short cuttings, or to stand empty as pure display; on a tea table, writing desk or niche, it rests easily with wood and plain walls, carrying wabi-sabi and the quiet of age.
